Our Mission Statement and Vision for the Future
Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians is a nonprofit organization dedicated to:
- Providing shelter and loving care for felines made homeless due to the terminal illness, incapacitation or death of their owners.
- Educating the public about the importance of planning for the ongoing care of their beloved companion animals should a time come when they are no longer able to do so themselves.
Hearts That Purr Feline Guardians envisions a future where all companion animals are considered valued family members and have loving homes for the duration of their lifetimes. We hope our efforts in this regard will help people understand that their responsibilities to their pets go beyond the basics of food, shelter and care. It also includes planning for their future without you to ensure no companion animal ever winds up in a shelter or loses its life simply because their owner passed away or became physically or mentally unable to care for them any longer.
